Serling is a cooperative association founded in 2001 to provide public and private agencies with Friulian language services, including language courses, translations, document correction etc., and to provide those working in Friulian linguistics with an opportunity for professional stability.
Serling adheres to the principles of language advancement and standardization set down by ARLeF (the Regional Agency for the Friulian Language) and is a member of the association CFL2000.
Serling currently has eight employees and also enlists others for collaboration or occasional work. In addition, Serling maintains contact with several outside experts for specialized services.
Serling is the only organization in Friuli whose foundation is the provision of professional language services in Friulian, without any public financial support.
